Deadline Nears for School Name Suggestions

The deadline for suggested names of the county’s 11^th high school is Friday, November 20. The school, located at 10504 Kettle Run Road, Nokesville, is expected to open in September 2011. The School Board’s naming committee will consider geographic or historical names, as well as those of deceased persons who made local, state, or national service contributions. Citizens who make a suggestion are requested to provide background information to aid in the selection process.

Suggestions should be sent to the School Division’s Community Relations Office, P.O. Box 389, Manassas, VA 20108, or emailed to paynebj@pwcs.edu, no later than November 20, 2009.
